Military Spouse: person married to a service member; doer of all the things: cooking, cleaning, childcare, pet care, emergency home repairs, waiting; superhero.You, yes you, are amazing.
You do it all, sometimes gracefully and other times not so much. Occasionally, you need some help. But stuff gets done.
You support your spouse, near or far, during deployments and at home. You have created amazing care packages, and navigate the USPS like a pro. You know all the acronyms, and drop them like nobody’s business.
You are stupendous.
And don’t ever forget it.
Even when the deployment has been extended. Even when the dog has destroyed the new carpet. Even when your babies are all sick at the same time, and the car breaks again, and the washing machine is on the fritz.
We are an amazing, awesome community. We thrive on challenges, build each other up, and cheer successes no matter how small.
So, here’s to you, Military Spouse.
