Every base has one. A School Liaison Officer.
As you move around the country, and world, with your MilKids, it can seem daunting and confusing to keep switching your child’s schools. Not every school, even Department of Defense schools on military bases, understands how to work with military kids. Luckily, there is the Military Interstate Children’s Compact.
So you got your orders, and you have a kiddo or two in school. What’s next? Let me help you out with an easy to use PCS Timeline for MilKids!
Women. We make up just a little bit less than 50% of the total global population. We have been around just as long as men. As a gender, we have scientists, rulers, authors, artists, composers, doctors, teachers, and pretty much every career path ever. For much of our species existence, women have been on the back […]
We are military families. We move. A lot. And everything is fine, kind of, when it’s just you and your spouse and maybe a dog/cat/goldfish. But now you have kids, and they go to school. So your military moves have taken on a WHOLE new dimension: which district has the BEST schools.

I can guarantee that there is a little girl or little boy out there tonight in tears because her best friends just dumped her, because his lunch money was stolen again, because it seems like the whole world is against them.
